Inspired by the success of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros, Sony has decided to offer PlayStation owners its very own take on the matter. Enter PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a four person beat ‘em up full of popular characters from the PlayStation universe such as the God of War himself, Kratos, Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper and lots more.
The game’s essentially a 2D fighter that offers players interactive environments to fight in. For example, in the trailer you see a bunch of dudes slugging it out against what appears to be the three headed Hydra from God of War who regularly strikes out randomly at players. The next level has elements from LittleBigPlanet and so on. No price or release date have been announced but we're guessing E3 2012 should shed more light on this game.
