After the horde of products that Genius decided to shower onto the Indian markets, the newest Genius device, the G-Shot digital camera marked with 5.0 megapixels follows. The camera is capable of taking pictures up to 12MP by interpolation. This isn't the usual high-end feature loaded camera, but a decent and affordable one for beginners. It features a 2.7-inch colour display and 8x digital zoom. Genius maintains a ‘pocket-friendly’ camera in every way, and this one tips the scale at 103 grams and attaches an affordable price. The G-Shot measures 90mm x 58mm x 13mm and users can pick it in various trendy colors like black, blue and purple.

This camera comes with a Li-ion battery that can be charged via USB and promises prolonged battery life. It ensures capturing over 200 CIPA photos, allowing users to take continuous snapshots in 1.5 hours. Moreover, it records video clips in 640 x 480 at 30fps resolution. The camera has more than 10 scene modes – Auto, Portrait, Night Scenery, Night Portrait, Sport, Party, Beach, face detection, smile detection and Scenery. Smile detection, which seems to have become a standard feature of digital cameras and also adopted by smartphones, is also found in the G-Shot 507.
The basic system requirements for the Genius G-Shot 507 digital camera are Pentium III 800MHz or higher processor, and also offers compatibility with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and also Windows 2000.
