HTC’s One X may be a powerful phone but many early adopters complained about poor battery life. Some other users also complained about a screen glitch issue. HTC seems to have acknowledged this problem as they’ve now rolled out an update for the One X that upgrades the build from 1.26 or 1.27 to 1.28. The new ROM brings with it speed improvements and better battery life. However, the power control app issue that was discovered by XDA forum members is not yet solved. The reason for the poor battery life was an app called NVCPLSvc.apk which was placed in the wrong folder by mistake which was the primary reason the battery used to drain. The developers released a redesigned app that improved the batter life by 20 per cent.
