Nintendo Digital Event @ E3 2015

Most say Nintendo have already shot themselves in the foot by announcing Zelda won’t be there. If you ask me, I would rather bet on a crippled horse than guess what Nintendo has in store. I guess Mario Maker and Splatoon will be featured heavily. How about a look at that super secret console?

E3 2015 - Ubisoft Live Conference - June 15th - 2:30 p.m PDT

As far as hated companies go Ubisoft are getting there, but they are still far behind EA. Ubisoft will take center stage after Microsoft and before Sony; which puts them in a special position where they either show games which have already been showcased or they spoil games release for Sony. However with recent focus shifting on exclusives, Ubisoft does have some neat games to show off.
What to watch out for: The 2 big names for Ubisoft right now are Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and Tom Clancy: Rainbow Six Seige. While Syndicate was revealed a few weeks earlier, Seige was teased at the last E3. And then of course there is the mandatory look at The Division.

Dishonored 2 incoming? Bethesda accidentally streams E3 press conference rehearsal

Well, this is a bit embarrassing—in an apparent rehearsal for its Sunday E3 press conference, Bethesda accidentally broadcast a few minutes of conversation between Arkane Studios’ Raph Colantonio and members of Bethesda live on Twitch. The conversation also mentioned Harvey Smith, who co-directed 2012's Dishonored with Colantonio. Those who caught the Twitch broadcast live claimed that Dishonored 2 was mentioned during the brief unplanned livestream.
A snippet of the conversation uploaded to Youtube  (backup on Kotaku, if that link goes down) does indeed include Colatonio and Smith rehearsing for tomorrow’s press conference, but best as we can tell, Dishonored 2 is never explicitly mentioned. The word “honored” is mentioned about 45 seconds into the clip, but in the context of “honored to be here” rather than “Dishonored 2.”
It’s possible Dishonored 2 was mentioned elsewhere in the accidental broadcast, but we can’t say definitively that they were discussing Dishonored 2 based on the clip. Still, we can safely say that Arkane Studios’ Smith and Colantonio will be at Bethesda’s conference talking about a new game. That game being a sequel to the successful Dishonored seems like a smart bet.

Top 10 Facts - Fallout

Fallout is a series of post-apocalyptic role-playing video games. It was created by Interplay Entertainment. Although the series is set during the 22nd and 23rd centuries, its retrofuturistic setting and artwork are influenced by the post-war culture of 1950s America, and its combination of hope for the promises of technology and lurking fear of nuclear annihilation. A forerunner for Fallout is Wasteland, a 1988 video game of which the Fallout series is regarded to be a spiritual successor. Although the game worlds are different, the background story, inhabitants, locations, and characters draw many parallels.
The first two titles in the series (Fallout and Fallout 2) were developed by Black Isle StudiosMicro Forté and 14 Degrees East's 2001 Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is a tactical role-playing game. In 2004, Interplay closed Black Isle Studios,[1] and continued to produce an action game with RPG elements for the PlayStation 2 andXboxFallout: Brotherhood of Steel without Black Isle Studios. A third entry in the main series, Fallout 3, was released in 2008 by Bethesda Softworks. The next role-playing installment of the series, Fallout: New Vegas, came out in 2010 and was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The newest game in the series, Fallout 4, was announced on June 3, 2015.
Bethesda Softworks now owns the rights to produce all Fallout games.[2] Soon after acquiring the rights to the IP, Bethesda licensed the rights to make a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) version of Fallout to Interplay. This led to a lengthy legal dispute between Bethesda Softworks and Interplay, with Bethesda claiming Interplay had not met the terms and conditions of the licensing contract. The case was decided in favor of Bethesda.[3] The MMORPG only ever got to the beta stage under Interplay,[4] and it is not currently known whether Bethesda plans to develop a Fallout MMO.

E3 2015 Press Conference Schedule

Each year at E3, major game publishers hold press conferences to announce their big news for the coming year. It's one of the most important events of the year for videogame aficionados, and this year's edition, running June 16-18, is especially noteworthy because it will see the first-ever event dedicated to PC gaming, the PC Gaming Show, brought to you by AMD and the handsome, winsome collective known as "us." To help you manage the influx of plentiful and exciting news, we've put together this handy breakdown of E3 2015 pressers. As the show approaches we'll update with livestream links and more events, but if you think we've missed something, let us know!

Bethesda — June 14, 7 pm PT

Fallout 4—because if it doesn't announce Fallout 4, there may well be a riot. I'm also expecting a look at Doom, Battlecry, maybe a new Dishonored—and because I'm an eternal optimist, I'm laying my money down on a surprise Prey 2 announcement, too. Like my dad always says: If you're going to make predictions, make 'em wild. ( Clarification: No actual money is being laid down.)
Long-shot Prediction: Wayne Gretzky IV: Problems With Pauline.

Microsoft — June 15, 9:30 am PT

Microsoft's focus will be squarely on the Xbox One, but the coming release of Windows 10 means there's bound to be some PC talk as well. "It's time for us to talk about gaming on Windows," as Xbox honcho Phil Spencer said late last year, remains a nebulous statement, but hopefully the Microsoft presser will offer some clarification.
Long-shot Prediction: Windows 10, Games for Windows Live 2.0.

Electronic Arts — June 15, 1-2 pm PT

If EA reveals both Mass Effect 4 and Mirror's Edge 2—which I'm sure it will—then I will likely dissolve into a puddle of happy goo on the floor. If it does not, my heart will be black with disappointment until E3 2016. There's really no middle ground here. I'm sure we'll hear lots about Star Wars: Battlefront (and quite possibly other Star Wars games, hopefully including the one Visceral's working on), we may get an an early look at Titanfall 2 and the next Battlefield, and it's a good bet there will be some EA Sports too.
Long-shot Prediction: LEGO Star Wars 1313.

Ubisoft — June 15, 3 pm PT

Assassin's Creed: Victory is almost a sure thing for this E3, and The Division is bound to turn up as well. And a Watch Dogs sequel announcement, perhaps?
Long-shot Prediction: Ubisoft E3 press conference delayed to Gamescom in August.

Sony — TBA, tentatively evening of June 15

Sony's presser, like Microsoft's, will be all about the PS4, but some interesting cross-platform games may turn up as well. No Man's Sky and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain are a couple worth watching for.
Long-shot Prediction: Jack Tretton pops in to say sorry for that 2013 Microsoft mega-burn.

Nintendo — June 16, 9 am PT

Satoru Iwata won't give us the time of day, but we love him anyway so he gets a mention. But really, this is your bathroom-break presser.
Long-shot Prediction: Anything relevant to PC gaming.

Square Enix — June 16, 10 am PT

The big news from Squeenix is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and I'm really looking forward to finding out more about that. Just Cause 3 will surely show up, as will Hitman, and I'd expect to see something from the Sleeping Dogs follow-up Triad Wars as well. Square Enix may also try to drum up interest in Nosgoth, the Legacy of Kain-based online shooter, and maybe even Heroes & Generals—although maybe not, too.
Long-shot Prediction: Thief: The Dark Project HD, new Hitman.

PC Gaming Show — June 16, 5-8 pm PT

This is the big one! Hosted by Sean "Day[9]" Plott, the show will feature appearances by Cliff Bleszinski, Dean Hall, and representatives from Blizzard, Cloud Imperium, Devolver Digital, Paradox, Square Enix, Tripwire Interactive, and more

UBISOFT UNVEILS ITS E3 2015 PLANS

E3 2015 is less than two weeks away, and companies are beginning to ramp up their pre-E3 hype machines. This includes Ubisoft, which has unveiled some of what it has planned for the annual Ubisoft Conference.
While E3 doesn’t officially kick off until June 16, many companies have their own press conferences before the event proper begins. Ubisoft has planned its conference for June 15 at 2:45 p.m. PDT at the Orpheum Theatre. Aisha Tyler will return to MC the event. For those who won’t be attending E3, Ubisoft will be streaming its press conference on YouTube, Twitch, and its own Uplay.
The company hasn’t announced everything it plans to show, but it has mentioned that it will be showing Assassin’s Creed SyndicateTom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and The Division. In addition to these games, Ubisoft promises that it will be showing some previously unannounced titles as well.
Two of the games Ubisoft is showing — Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege are set to ship this year, but The Division was recently delayed (again) to 2016.
Those attending E3 won’t be stuck just watching footage of the games. Ubisoft will have a booth (#1023) in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. The company will also be bringing back the Uplay Lounge where attendees can get hands-on time with the games and “hang out with the developers and compete with other fans.”
Ubisoft will also be hosting a series of “Master Classes” at the Uplay Lounge, where developers do live playthroughs of the games the company is showing. These events will also be streamed live on Twitch.

“E3 is always a very special moment for the entire gaming community because we all come together to share our visions for the future of entertainment and reveal the games into which we’ve been pouring our energy and passion,” Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said. “The players’ excitement and feedback when they first experience what we’re developing is what motivates us the most.”
For your own look at some of what Ubisoft has planned, take a look at the company’s E3 2015 teaser below.

Leaked: Ubisoft To Announce New Prince of Persia At E3 2015

prince-of-persiascreen2
A voice actor may have leaked that Ubisoft plans to announce a new Prince of Persia game at E3.
Robin Atkin Downes announced on twitter the other day:
“Looking forward to it!  and  will be there.”
Robin Atkin Downes was the voice for the Prince in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. He’s also a voice actor for a ton of other video games as well. He must know that Ubisoft will be announcing something big at E3 2015.
It’s been a long time since fans have been treated to a proper new Prince of Persia game. There was some excitement a few years ago, but it was just for a mobile game.
A new Price of Persia game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be cool to see. The series has taken a backseat as of late to the Assassin’s Creed series. It would be cool to see the Prince back in action.
Ubisoft does have an E3 2015 presentation so it’s possible the new Prince of Persia will be announced then. Hopefully Mr Downes is right and wasn’t trolling the fans.
Fallout 4 was announced just a few days ago, so anything is possible at this rate. It will be disappointing if Ubisoft doesn’t announce a new Prince of Persia game soon.

Expectations from Fallout 4

Fallout 4 is probably being revealed tomorrow. But before then, we only have our imaginations to work with. What will a new generation of Fallout look and feel like? Will there still be Deathclaws? As we wait to learn more, these are our speculations and hopes for the next return to the wasteland.
Livelier roads, cities, and towns. There's a reason these things pop up time and time again on the Fallout mod sites. It's a basic incompatibility at the heart of Bethesda's game: most games are a bit more fun with a livelier world, but the world of Fallout follows on from the razing of the human race. Bethesda tend to err on the side of caution with this, though tech issues are probably to blame for the rather empty casinos of New Vegas, but creating a world means populating it, and the mods that add new travelers and people still do that without impacting the overall feeling of loneliness. As it is,the roads of the Wasteland are a bit too quiet for the game they're part of.
Make it about survival. In Bethesda's hands, the Wasteland is fun. By the middle of a run through you're clobbering Deathclaws with concrete capped rebars and sipping irradiated water without a care in the world. Possibly with a pinkie out. The point being is that the notion of survival becomes obsolete in a world dripped in caps to find, traders to sell to, and junk to collect. New Vegas has hardcore mode, forcing you to think about food, water, and rest, as well as altering the way meds and stimpaks work, but it's still a world that can easily and comfortably be lived in. It needn't be the main difficulty level, but the option to make the world a harsh place to live, to make the players think about every move, not just their weapon and perk choices, would give the ashy flavour of survival.
Bethesda's Design, Obsidian's Characters. There I was, wandering beneath a line-up of broken satellite dishes, looking for things to do when I spied a door. What could be behind it? A gang of gangers? A terrified NPC? A few steps towards it, a glance around to make sure there was nothing sneaking up. I popped the door. Behind it was a wall with “Fuck You” written on it. Bethesda's worlds tend to be packed with detail, big and small. They're places to live in and enjoy, and just brilliant places to explore. Their characters, however, are a lot less engaging. Obsidian's take on New Vegas was packed with morally dubious Wastelanders with dark stories. Acquiring Boone as a follower, for example, meant leading a person out into a field for the deranged sniper to shoot. That's dark enough, but as a player you could happily lead an innocent into Boone's sights. Somewhere in the middle of Fallout 3 and New Vegas is the sweet spot they should be aiming for: dark, compelling characters in a curated world.
Treat us like PC gamers. I've never loaded up a Bethesda game and felt the studio really understood what PC gamers want from them. We have screen space and we have a pointing device that just seems to baffle them. I understand there's a fictional reason for the Pipboy's clunkiness, but all too often Bethesda will choose that over usability. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are remarkable examples of how to not lead a player through a game's menus. I *have* to install a UI mod to deal with the endless scrolling of the inventories. When it comes to pure usability, divorce the theme from the menus
The same is true for FOV: the first thing I have to do in any Bethesda game is to hunt for an FOV hack. That I can do it is evidence that the engine is capable, and I'm still baffled that it's not a native selection. Give me a damn slider.
Meaningful Character Creation. There are a fair number of perks, abilities and skills to begin with in Fallout. But there's nothing to set allegiances or race. Bethesda's Fallouts give you plenty of opportunity to interact with factions, and alliances will be built from your actions, but what if you don't want to put the work in, or want to roleplay from the opening bell? It needn't allow you to select playing as a Ghoul, but predisposing you towards the NPR would make an interesting challenge to overcome.
Think about the Karma system. I nuked Megaton. I actually destroyed a town full of people. I can't imagine any game allowing me to claw my way back from that, but Fallout 3 let me. Through good deeds I managed to reclaim my karma and end-up with a reasonably decent character sheet. I wouldn't mind my deeds being somewhat recognised, but I blew up a town. There are no meaningful consequences that you can't undo. Make it harder to turn myself around, and make some choices indelible. By the same token, if I'm stealing things from bad people, don't make that a hit on my karma. By all means make the faction hate me, but the world should recognise the good I just did.
More than one city. Bethesda's games just don't have the scope of the original series, because building all that content and the space in between in the sort of game that they make would take a decade. But the DLC that they've added to the game has shown a willingness to allow the player to simply hop to another area without worrying about the space in between. Or just choose a reasonably close cluster of cities that the fiction hasn't totaled.
Make it it hurt. My violent streak has never been well-served by Fallout 3 or NV (I like Skyrim's bows, though). VATs is nice touch, and certainly enhances the basic combat, but whether it's swinging a concrete caked rebar, or zapping with the Wasteland's most advanced lasergundeath tech, there's weediness to it. There's little heft to the melee weapons, and the report of the guns doesn't match what they do to enemies. Please, Bethesda, play Dark Messiah and Red Orchestra, two games where the combat feels utterly perfect. That's the level of combat excellence that an action Fallout needs.
A use for everything. Speaking of that, Fallout New Vegas allowed you to mod your guns a little, augmenting them with scopes and such. That's a good start. This is a world where invention is a necessary part of survival, and where scavenging should be part of a crafting system that allows you build everything and anything, and to mod things on top of that. I'd even lobby for individual components to be brought in from the Steam Workshop. Oh yeah...
Use The Steam Workshop. This is kind of a lock: the Skyrim Workshop is the third busiest of the modder's distribution platforms. But what I would urge is for Bethesda to make the tools available on launch day. It will help with content, and if none of the above in the list makes it, it'll give the modders a jump on fiddling with and fixing everything on the list above.

The Fallout 4 Announcement Has Begun

The Fallout 4 Announcement Has Begun
It’s official: Fallout 4 is coming. Bethesda just put up a countdown timer leading up to the announcement, which will apparently take place tomorrow.
It’s curious to see Bethesda announce the game before their E3 conference, which takes place on June 14, but it’s happening. Yesterday, a person familiar with goings-on at the company told me that a 24-hour countdown clock would be launching today and lead up to a Fallout 4 announcement this week. Looks like that’s true, although of course it’s possible they’ll drag this out with an extended ARG or other teasers leading up to the 14th.
Fallout 4, a sequel to Bethesda’s 2008 post-apocalyptic RPG, is one of the most anticipated games in recent history, and it’s been driving everyone nuts for weeks now. Back in December of 2013, we postedleaked casting documents indicating the game would be in Boston, but we haven’t heard much since then.

Call Of Duty Black Ops III LEAKED INFO: Edward Richtofen & Alex Mason Returning To Black Ops 3

Black Ops III Leaked Info Black Ops 3 News Black Ops 3
We’ve recently been given the news about some new details about the Black Ops III characters we can look forward to seeing. It looks like we will be seeing Alex Mason returning to Black Ops III as a primary character in the game. Not only that, but he will also be reunited with the one and only Edward Richtofen. You heard me right, Edward Richtoften, the Zombie slaying mad scientist.
This information came to light after a casting commercial (according to our source) looking for actors to play these specific Call of Duty Black Ops III characters was leaked. It looks that there will yet again be some form of a live action commercial like there was for Black Ops II, which you can watch below.
YouTube Video Source: Call of Duty
Since all of this is just rumors and leaked info, what does any of this really mean about Black Ops III? Well, the time frame is what first comes to mind if Alex Mason is back. Mason was born June 2, 1933 in Fairbanks, Alaska, for those of you that don’t know. So if Mason is making a return to Black Ops III, would he be making a return as a “flashback” character or a “zombies” playable character? Those are the only two conclusions I can come up with as a player and a speculative writer.
Black Ops III Alex Mason Black Ops 3 Leak Info Black Ops III Details
Richtofen Black Ops III Call of Duty Details Black Ops 3 InfoWith my speculations on what type of role Mason will be playing, it’s almost obvious which role Richtofen will be playing in Black Ops III. Richtofen made his debut in Call of Duty World at War playing Doc, the sociopath and a sadistic German scientist who is a main antagonist in the Zombies story line. The story behind Richtofen is a long one, so feel free to give his biography a read.
